WHY VOLUNTEER
Because we need you! We absolutely couldn’t have an event like this without our volunteers; they help in every aspect of the race. Not only do we need you, but so do the runners. Volunteers encourage and support runners while making sure they stay safe and have as much fun as possible.
Not only will you become part of the CTG team, but you will also get the opportunity to Conquer The Gauntlet for FREE, $10 insurance fee required! This is such a fun atmosphere! There is no better way to cheer on runners, connect with other awesome people, and get a backstage CTG experience.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
We will need volunteers to help with course and festival area work, work the registration and gear check tents, be obstacle attendants, water station attendants, and cheer people on at the start and finish line. Saturday afternoon and Sunday volunteers will help with course and festival area clean-up and tear down.
TIME
A FULL DAY of volunteering at Conquer The Gauntlet will last approximately 5 hours. If you volunteer a FULL DAY you have the option of 3 shifts throughout the day on Saturday or 2 shifts on Friday or Sunday, before and after the event. We have also added multiple shifts in the weeks leading up to the event and after the event for more options. We greatly appreciate our volunteers and couldn’t do it without you!
Saturday August 22 Volunteers- Sign up to help with semi trailer unload, $10 insurance fee required. Available shifts 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Sunday August 23 Volunteers- Sign up to help with obstacle transport, $10 insurance fee required. Available shifts 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Saturday August 29 Volunteers- Sign up to help with obstacle transport, $10 insurance fee required. Available shifts 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Friday September 11 Volunteers- Sign up to volunteer 5 hours the day before the race and run for FREE on Saturday, $10 insurance fee required. Available shifts are 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Saturday September 12 Event Day Volunteer options:
Volunteer at 6:30 AM - Run at 11:45 AM
Run in the 8:00 AM Elite Wave - Volunteer until 3:00 PM or 5 hours from when you start your shift ($20 elite wave fee will be added to your $10 volunteer insurance fee)
Run at 8:30 AM - Volunteer until 3:00 PM or 5 hours from when you start your shift
Run at 10:30 AM - Volunteer until 5:00 PM or 5 hours from when you start your shift
Sunday September 13 Volunteers- Sign up to volunteer 5 hours on the day after the race and run a future event free of charge or have your Saturday registration refunded. Available shifts are 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Monday September 14 Volunteers- Sign up to help with obstacle tear down and transport and run a future event free of charge or have your Saturday registration refunded. Available shifts are 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Tuesday September 15 Volunteers- Sign up to help with obstacle tear down and transport and run a future event free of charge or have your Saturday registration refunded. Available shifts are 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Wednesday September 16 Volunteers- Sign up to help with semi trailer reload and run a future event free of charge or have your Saturday registration refunded. Available shifts are 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Volunteers do not need to sign up for a race registration. Your race registration is included in your volunteer registration.

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS
Race discount is non-transferrable.
There is a $10 insurance fee to volunteer.
You must be 16+ to volunteer. If you are 10 to 15 you may volunteer if accompanied by an adult who is also volunteering.
Sign the volunteer waiver.
Be flexible and come with a good attitude.
